Venture Company Yakutia was established on October 5th, 2011 by the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) according to the order “On the participation of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) in the founding of OJSC “Venture Company Yakutia No. 1044-r.

Nowadays Venture Company Yakutia is the only fund in the Far Eastern Federal District that employs a publicly-funded direct investment tool.

“Venture Company “Yakutia” JSC is a development institution that facilitates the development and support of technological entrepreneurship, funds innovative early stage companies. Venture Company Yakutia aim its efforts to strengthen small and medium-sized enterprises.

The company is on the mission to enhance the investment attractiveness of the region, attract FDI and improvee the public’s quality of life. This is achieved by investing in creation of successful innovation-driven enterprises and supporting technological entrepreneurs.

To achieve the mission, the company is responsible for the following tasks:

To join as a co-investor in investment projects with significant economic and social potential;
To jointly develop marketing and project-development strategies with enterprises;
popularization and promotion technological entrepreneurs and innovative companies.
